Apples are one of the most versatile fruits that we grow in the UK. If you have had a good harvest you need to store the leftover fruit to ensure a steady supply through the winter months. This traditional apple storage rack will do the job beautifully for you. The apples sit on slatted drawers that allow for good air circulation which will stop the fruit from rotting. It is important however that you only put good unspoilt fruit in the rack, any bad fruit will cause the surrounding apples to rot. It is best to keep your rack in a well ventilated shed, garage, outbuilding, pantry or similar, somewhere cool and dark is ideal.

The storage rack can of course be used for vegetables and fruit or indeed for storing anything that you have that needs a home.
